Summary: Did many cool things with cool attributes. Validated student responses, being strict checking. Made a function from quadratic.

Could meet again tomorrow and Anurag will prepare stuff.

  • Aishwarya Ravi
  • Gyaneshwar Agrahari
  • Maria Amarakristi Onyido
  • Guillermo Garza
  • Robert DeYeso

Lind L122

Notes: all types of graph animations. Three forms of quadratic functions. College Algebra domain/range: showed a circle collapsing onto x/y-axis for domain/range. Working on a slider with the student’s own function.

Could meet again.

College Algebra in Doenet

  • Brayton Isaac Wario
  • Carly M Vollet
  • Andrew Omar Alaniz
  • Jinsook Park
  • Mark Kayser

Lind L125

Notes: Talked and talked and decided on exit tickets in Doenet. Specific problem working: linear EQ, student groups choose a number to generate the EQ, see if they can make right choices. Main goal: variance-based on group number (vs. variants made by doenet).

Could meet again.

Doenet for Computer Science

  • Melissa Lynn
  • Steve Frezza
  • Oscar Levin
  • Jackson Knox

Lind L130

Notes: Looked at different activities, started digging into devcontainer environments and looked at code for graph component and boolean operators.

Will shift to doenet development tomorrow.

Coworking on Generic Doenets

  • Mark Thomas Lydon
  • Peter Keep
  • Chrissy Safranski
  • Drew Youngren
  • Hannah Burson
  • Julie Leifeld

Notes: Mix of parametric curves in morning. Pedagogy discussion. Calculus stuff in the afternoon. Lots of good conversations.

Will offer this again.
