One of the things that I waste the most time on when authoring within a folder structure is when I have to go back two folders. If this ever happens, I can’t do it directly from the top nav, and I wind up having to go all the way back to my root directory from My Activities and then re-navigate to where I was.
We already have this nice shortcut to “My Activities” that’s pinned to the left-hand side when you are in folder view. Why not just have it be expandable, and show your folder structure completely, so that you can actually navigate back two folders if needed? (Otherwise, it really just feels redundant to the shortcut in the top panel that’s already there…)
Secondly, if you’re in the editor, it would be lovely to have that little folder icon on the left bring up an overlay of this same navigation tool to save going back one folder first (see second screenshot)
