When trying to click into a math input box within a multiple choice question, the release of the mouse click is seen by doenet as selecting the answer choice, not clicking inside the box. An untenable workaround that @Kris_Hollingsworth found was to type the answer elsewhere, copy it, click inside the box while holding mouse 1 down, paste the copied answer into the box and then release the mouse button.
It would be nice if one could type in answers in the math input box without doing all that.
