We just published some updates to beta.doenet.org and released a new version of DoenetML.
Updates on beta.doenet.org:
-
We removed the options menu (three dots) in folder content lists.
-
Instead, if you select the box to the left of an item, a toolbar at the top will appear, allowing you to move, delete, copy, or create from the selection. (Most options are currently available only if you select one item.)
-
We also removed the “accessibility strict mode” button in the editor and scratch pad, as it has been replaced by a WCAG accessibility status indicator and report, as described below.
New features from the new version 0.7.11 of DoenetML:
-
A new WCAG accessibility alert appears if a violation to the WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines has been detected.

-
Clicking on this button (or clicking on the accessibility icon in the editor footer) opens an accessibility report of both WCAG violations and other issues.
-
We fixed a round-off error that could prevent a 0 from being excluded in a
<sequence>or<selectFromSequent>(see discussion). -
Negative fractions now display with the negative in front of the fraction rather than in the numerator (see discussion).
See the release notes for more details.
The new version is automatically applied to activities on beta.doenet.org and in PreTeXt (unless you’ve explicitly changed the version).
