By mistake, Doenet currently allows one to put a <when> tag inside a <text> tag, and the result renders as a “true” or “false”. That wasn’t supposed to be allowed.
I’m planning on fixing that mistake soon. However, that would mess up anyone’s document that relies on that behavior. I’m pretty sure people wouldn’t be doing that, but here’s a quick heads-up of this upcoming behavioral change.
