It’s taken a long time for this to happen, but some answer boxes are too long to fit within PreTeXt even when the box moves down to its own line.
The answer button and the rest of the typing disappears off the edge.
Oscar had some ideas for how to make this work better, and he posted on -dev suggesting that part of the solution is “for Doenet to change their css to make overflow-x be auto.”

Thanks, I’ve connect with Oscar on this. It looks like I can change something in Doenet or he can change something in PreTeXt to fix this. Not sure which is the best option. I might just go ahead and make the change in Doenet to see if it breaks anything.
I just published a new dev version of DoenetML that fixes this; a horizontal scroll bar appears if the answer blank gets too wide. However, we haven’t yet released a new version of DoenetML with it. (I made this change after we released the new version!)
You can still use it right away by adding version="dev" to the interactive tag. That attribute won’t be needed after we release the next version of DoenetML that includes this change.
