We currently have a forceFullCheckworkButton attribute on an <answer> to force it to use a big Check Work button rather than the small one even it there is just a single input in it.
Should we have another attribute to force the answer to use the small check work button with no words? E.g., forceSmallCheckworkButton.
Here’s context for the request.
Any downside to this change?
I would very much be in favor of have just the checkmark be the default behavior for any answer (to save space and for the sake of consistency on a page) with the option to have custom text for the button.
Ooh, me too. I understand why when there’s a button below a graph, for example, you might want it to be larger and to say something. But I think it’d be great to have the default be the small button.
I’m in favor of adding the forceSmallCheckworkButton attribute, but more inclined to leave the current defaults as they are. As Chrissy mentioned, I think the bigger button is helpful when the button is farther away from the work.
I would be reluctant to change the default (except when releasing a new version) as that would change the look of folks’ activities out from under them without notice.
